NCDC COVID-19 NEWS: The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Saturday night, reported 136 new COVID-19 cases which sums the country’s coronavirus tally to 58,198 cases.
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control on Friday, recorded 136 new covid-19 cases and 3 deaths in Nigeria.
NCDC disclosed this on their official tweeter page during the daily COVID-19 news report on Friday.
The new cases were reported from 16 states including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Till date, 58,198 cases have been confirmed, 49,722 cases have been discharged and 1,106 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, NCDC report.
Recently, Nigeria have 7,370 active COVID-19 cases with 502,545 tested blood samples.
However, since the outbreak of the pandemic in Nigeria, Lagos has been the first in the Covid-19 table with 19,215 positive cases, followed by the Federal Capital Territory (Abuja) with 5,644 cases.
Meanwhile, Kogi has been the least in the table with only five infections.
Currently, there is no patient on admission in the kogi states isolation centers, as three persons out of the five have been discharged and two have died.
